We've had a wonderful experience at Sabin School over the past 5 years. Both of our kids have become enthusiastic learners and I credit their welcoming school community, kind and hard-working teachers and the thoughtful administration. Most importantly, our dyslexic child got exactly the supports she needed to become a reader with science based reading instruction and help from Reading Results. Sabin School is also a lot of fun, with many informal opportunities for our kids to spend time with their friends at school and around the neighborhood. The Sun School afterschool program gives Sabin students the opportunity to try activities like guitar and chess. We could have chosen a private school and I'm so glad that we did not go that direction for primary school. Go Sabin Stars!

This school is not challenging. Many days spent sitting around with nothing to do. Especially for those enrolled in college courses. The schedules don't align so there are 8 weeks of the school year spent doing absolutely nothing. We were babysat in another teacher's classroom along with that teacher's students. A giant daycare facility! So disappointing.

It is extremely uncomfortable the way one of the teachers at this school uses her public TikTok and Instagram accounts to post content from inside her classroom. The posts are often overly sexualized or self-focused (wearing such tight clothing, cannot believe a teacher dresses this way), with the teacher frequently filming herself during school hours. Recently, she even mentioned that one of her third-grade students took photos of her in class—which, frankly, feels incredibly inappropriate and crosses a line in terms of professional boundaries. This raises some serious questions: why are students being involved in her content? And how much time is actually being spent on instruction when so much attention is given to creating and posting on social media? I hope the school takes this seriously and reinforces the importance of professionalism and digital boundaries in an elementary school setting.

Do not make the mistake i did they will let kids fight and see whats happening and not say anything until one of the kids walk over and there school is fulll of bullying it’s insane especially in the middle school the teachers barley care about learning and so many teachers have left because they don’t Evan get in trouble for being disrespectful to teachers and all the teachers do is just side with the principal.

I attended PS4 from kindergarten through 5th grade. I was bullied and screamed at constantly by my fourth grade teacher and the coordinator of the Inclusion program of this school. If you have children in this school, maybe transfer them out of here. PS1 is a much better school! PS4 lost, PS1 won! PS1 is a good school!

Great school, great teachers, great community of people.

Brookfield was a terrible placement! My son was in an out of district placement mostly for eloping. So it was a surprise to me when Brookfield could not keep him in the class. His behaviors escalated worse than the public schools. They started to suspend him regularly for his behaviors to the point that my sending district was getting upset. They were calling me multiple times a day. And the worse part is that they were not implementing any strategies that we discussed to help with the behaviors. They were not following the IEP. They CANCELLED his IEP therapy’s without permission. They pushed meds hard. They even irritated our nuerologist with their med increase requests, and accused me of not medicating him. They were CAUSING the behaviors by letting him play video games on the tablet etc. even though multiple times I said he shouldn’t be allowed that. He was held down and choked by a larger student in a higher grade. I was told to keep my son home the next day for his saftey, also told that on that day my son “antagonized the wrong one” they combine gym class with upper grades. I requested that my kid no longer be in that gym class. They refused. But gym is where most of his conflicts were happening. They combine behavior kids with therapuetic kids but they aren’t set up for the behavior kids. They had me basically sedate him so he could attend. They could blame us but we transferred out and for the rest of this year he was not suspended, the new school has never called me, he comes home with rewards weekly for good behavior AND he’s gotten student of the month twice. He doesn’t elope anymore. And he’s on track for earning a special lunch with the principal if he gets student of the month again. He’s thriving the way I’d expect a special school to help. Avoid Brookfield - several other parents have shared similiar stories. Their kids were worse there!

Since my child started there for kindergarten, she has been doing great. Her teachers are amazing, supportive and caring. My 3 yr old started this year In 3k at the age of 2.6 years old and I am impressed at the progress she has made as the baby in her class. I really like this school for my children so far.

This center is amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and attentive to the children. The activities are educational and engaging, and the environment is clean and developmentally appropriate. Most importantly, the teachers genuinely care about each child!

This school does not teach children good citizenship. The children basically own the school and are allowed to run wild. I have seen the cafeteria. Older children are allowed to bully younger children. The younger children are bullied into giving up their lunches to older children and do not feel that they are allowed to keep their food. The teachers work tirelessly but the current administration does not support any of the teachers hi feel intimidated. Children are taught to judge others in negative and demeaning ways. If you are looking for a good private school, DO NOT put your child here. This is a lot worse then public school which my children have been in before. I had to take my child out if this school after older children continued to bully her and the administration refused to help her. This school does not teach discipline and respect. The teachers work tirelessly but the administration is a sham and very condescending to them as well as the parents.

Based upon my experience with teachers at the school, i would absolutely not send my children here. They are unprofessional and do not act as good role models or mentors.

Needs a new principal and better teachers! Bullying goes unaddressed and most teachers lack the motivation to really address misbehavior in the classroom. The school is failing at nurturing students that want to learn more. Loss of a good vice principal has further deteriorated the situation.

As a staff member this school could of had improvement

I go to cedar creek middle school and there was a lot of fights but other then That it is a good school and teachers really help a lot
